The Heart of England Community Foundation has received their biggest donation yet from a mystery benefactor. The donor, whose identity remains unknown, has given away £4 million (Rs 34 crore) in charity for the homeless in West Midlands.
The foundation said it will use £3 million of the donation to fund important initiatives to help those who will be ushering in the New Year on the streets. The rest of £1 million will be invested to ensure a legacy for the coming years.
This generous gift comes after a homeless man was found frozen dead in Birmingham city centre near the Bullring Shopping Centre.
The foundation has written a heartfelt thank you to the anonymous donor for his generous donation. The donor has also requested the foundation to use the funds to create new or update existing housing infrastructure for those who don’t have a roof over their heads.
This guy has the biggest heart. God bless him.
