This Pakistani Artist's Sketches On 'Desi Girl Problems' Are Funny As Hell & So Damn Relatable

T

One thing that people (read – aunties) in India love to do is worry about the younger generation getting married and reproducing to populate the next generation. The target of their uncalled for, and idiotic, concerns are desi ‘woke’ women who are questioned about their life choices every single day.

Living life on our own terms, putting career before marriage, not succumbing to set standards of beauty and not following the patriarchal societal norms are a few of the decisions us millennial women are making for ourselves. But clearly, we are hurting the sentiments of our dear, dear aunties, who just want us to settle down in life.

Saher, who goes by the name The Pakistani Martha Stewart, is an artist who illustrates the desi girl problems and believe us it’s the most relatable thing you will find on the internet today.

Her Instagram account is full of savage anti-aunty posts and we love, love each one of them. Check out her comics below, and do let us know which one’s your favourite.

  1. Aunty Gossips
