Rohit Sharma led the charge for India in Indore in the 2nd T20I vs Sri Lanka. He equaled the record for the fastest hundred in the format.
He slammed it in 35 balls and his innings contained 11 fours and 8 sixes. He shares it with David Miller of South Africa, who achieved in earlier this year vs Bangladesh.
The skipper along with KL Rahul had brought up the hundred in the 9th over for India as their brutal assault left Sri Lanka traumatised. The stand ended at 165, when Rohit fell for 118 in 43 balls.
India won the ODI series 2-1 and the Tests before that 1-0.
