Mitchell Johnson Lashes Out At Critics After Going Unsold In IPL Auction, Insists It's Not The End Of The World For Him

Mitchell Johnson did not get any buyers when he went under the hammer during the IPL auction. This was surprising as many expected him to get picked.

He had pulled out of the PSL to rest ahead of the IPL and sadly he has not been considered by anybody. The last time the fast bowler any type of cricket was in the Big Bash League.

Mitchell Johnson went unsold

Johnson has represented Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab during his stint in the IPL. After he was snubbed, many on Twitter trolled him. But the man had a bouncer in store for them. This one tweet to his critics is bound to shut them up:

To all the idiotic people out there hiding behind a computer screen typing absolute junk……. I’m still smiling & enjoying my life with my amazing family 😘 #nottheendoftheworld

— Mitchell Johnson (@MitchJohnson398) January 27, 2018

His base price was Rs 2 crore. His IPL career has seen him take 59 wickets in 48 games. He  retired from international cricket in 2015.
