In a case of alleged security breach, a Madhya Pradesh Police constable, who was one of the security personnel of former union minister and veteran Congress leader Kamal Nath was suspended after he ‘suspiciously’ shifted his service revolver aiming at him.
The incident happened in a small airport in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, the Lok Sabha constituency of Mr Kamal Nath when he was about to board a private flight to Delhi.
The constable, identified as Ratnesh Pawar was immediately overpowered by the MP’s bodyguards and have been since placed under suspension.

“One of the policemen deployed for security of (Congress MP) Kamal Nath ji suspiciously pointed the gun towards him at airport. We have suspended him and are investigating the matter,” Assistant Superintendent of Police, Neeraj Soni said.
Pawar, who has been since suspended and interrogated is said to have denied taking aim at the Congress leader and claimed that he was only shifting the INSAS rifle from one shoulder to another.
