Salman Khan’s Tubelight might have failed to ignite the box-office but his latest film Tiger Zinda Hai is turning out to be a big hit. After entering the 100 crore club in barely three days of its official release, the film went on to minting 200 crore bounty in just a week.
And now, crashing all box-office records, the trade analysts have confirmed that the film is all set to hit the Rs. 250 cr mark!
TZH currently is at Rs. 232.52 crore and counting, but Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has confirmed that the film is all set to claim some higher records. He took to Instagram to confirm the news.
#TigerZindaHai maintains a STRONG TREND… Now chasing the score set by #BajrangiBhaijaan [₹ 320.34 cr] and #Sultan [₹ 300.45 cr]… Biz expected to jump again on Sat [today], Sun and Mon [1 Jan]… [Week 2] Fri 11.56 cr. Total: ₹ 217.60 cr. India biz. #TZH
If the film continues to rule like this, the film might just end up crossing the lifetime collections of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan – both movies that had made over Rs. 300 crores.
Whether the film will end up becoming the second highest grossing movie of the year (Baahubali 2 being the first one), time will tell but the film is indeed going strong.
Talking to PTI, Salman had expressed his happiness on the success of the film and he credited his co-star Katrina for the success.
A report had quoted her saying,
“As an actor, I always want to be part of movies that audiences thoroughly enjoy and the feedback that I’m getting from audiences is overwhelming and extremely satisfying.”
